29th Annual General Meeting

The Danish Chamber of Commerce Malaysia (DamCham Malaysia) (Formerly known as Malaysian Danish Business Council) successfully concluded its 29^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Probably The Best Lounge, Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad on 26^th May 2022.  A total of 14 members attended the AGM with all resolutions unanimously passed.

The council’s three incumbents, namely Sangeeta Matu, Kennet Sondergaard Poulsen, and Henrik Bo Peter Eidvall retained their directorships, while Kennet remained as MDBC’s Treasurer.  Following the AGM, the MDBC Board members are as follows: –

After the confirmation of  the re-appointment of DANCHAM’s Auditor, Messrs. SL Ling & Co,  DANCHAM’s Chairman Allan Jensen proceeded to present DANCHAM’s business strategy for 2022-23. Following this, Amos highlighted the topic of Developing Supply Chain and Value amongst DANCHAM members.

Thereafter, Carlsberg Malaysia’s Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Director, Pearl Lai shared the history of Carlsberg, highlighting the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their business as well as their environmental initiatives under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Following the conclusion of the AGM, members were treated to a brewery tour, led by Carlsberg Malaysia’s Brewery Tour Manager, Alex Koh.

The evening rounded off with casual chit-chat paired with food and beers from Carlsberg Malaysia.  All the members and guests had a wonderful time.
