What do you want to achieve by your Board Directorship?
I joined MDBC to help my company get better market insight and find business opportunities as well as to build a network in Malaysia and better understand what is going on. Along the path I joined the board of EUMCCI as well as the Green Building Committee of EUMCCI and it have been a fantastic journey where I have gotten to know hundreds of people and attended many inspiring and informative events. The leads and connections have led to many business opportunities and it has not only fulfilled but far exceeded my expectations. As Chairman, I hope to help our members experience a similar journey.
How will you contribute to achieve your mission?
As Chairman, I want to ensure we have an energised and active board who together with a capable secretariat, create events and make connections that provide compelling opportunities for our members.
We have an existing portfolio of recurring events that many members find useful for both business as well as socially and for networking. Through EUMCCI and other national chambers, we will provide additional avenues by having a strong collaborative spirit towards these other chambers. Several of our board members, including myself, will be directly active in committee work at EUMCCI and we will encourage members to make use of that avenue to significantly enhance their market prospects. You can get a lot out of MDBC and your personal engagement is directly proportional to how much benefit you will receive from MDBC; so together with the board, I will focus on enhancing member engagement to maximise that value.

What do you want to achieve by your Board Directorship?
I wish to be contributing to the Danish Business Community in Malaysia by sharing my own personal experience’s. Have learned a number of do’s and dont’s, and some of these could have been avoided, if I had chosen to be reaching out sooner.I now know, that you are stronger, when you are not on your own. This is why the MDBC is a fantastic opportunity to expand my own network and learn from others, and at the same time share what if know.
How will you contribute to achieve your mission?
I will start to take active part in the various events, that is being offered by MDBC. Previously I have been a “sleeping member”of MDBC, but since I have decided to engage, I will be reaching out. Each new day will bring new opportunities. It is you, who decides which to follow.

What do you want to achieve by your Board Directorship?
Having worked for Carlsberg Malaysia for over 15 years now, it is my honour to be nominated to the Board of MDBC and get involved in efforts to protect and promote the Danish business community in Malaysia. Carlsberg beer stands at the heart of moments that bring people together. From the Company perspectives, we hope to contribute by bringing Danish and Malaysia business communities closer over a beer, probably and bring to live the Sustainability of Denmark through circular economy here in Malaysia. On the personal front, I would like to have quality engagements with MDBC communities to get insights and intelligence on areas of common interest. In the absence of the Danish Embassy in Malaysia, the Board of Directors of MDBC, with the support of EUROCHAM, hope be the Voice of Denmark to the Malaysian government, especially the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Ministry of Domestic Trade and other business-related government agencies.
How will you contribute to achieve your mission?
Collaborate hand in hand with the MDBC Board of Directors, I am confident that we can co-create a shared-knowledge and resources platform for the Danish business communities whilst offering them exclusive networking events and opportunities. Personally, I aspire to be a publicist of MDBC to amplify its purpose, mission and accomplishments; I pledged to undertake active roles in government engagements; and I am champion activities and events around sustainable business,

What do you want to achieve by your Board Directorship?
I would be delighted to strengthen ties between the two dynamic nations.
Malaysia and Denmark complement each other beautifully in many ways, and I look forward to being a facilitator of the exchange of industry knowledge, trade, culture and development of relationships between people.
How will you contribute to achieve your mission?
I will identify businesses, industry experts, entrepreneurs, thought leaders and changemakers from both Europe and Asia, as I believe the cross-fertilisation of diverse ideas, translated into action will lead to enhanced, sustainable solutions, not just from an economic perspective, but also at an individual level.

What do you want to achieve by your Board Directorship?
I would like to enable all businesses with ties to Denmark that is entering the Malaysian market to gain key information and access to needed knowledge and contacts to create a prosperous business venture in Malaysia. For current MDBC members to further leverage and cooperate on joint agendas and experiences across businesses and industries within both MDBC and other platforms finding solutions to challenges within the business climate of Malaysia.
How will you contribute to achieve your mission?
Within my past experience of establishing a business in Malaysia and growing the same continuously both in business and organisational size I have personal experience of both legislative and cultural challenges in the country. I have also experienced the potential shortfall one might have when facing issues without having a strong network to discuss potential solutions or using partners to leverage influence. Within MDBC and its partners we have great potential to strengthen the community of our members and it is our duty to realise this potential.

What do you want to achieve by your Board Directorship?
I believe strongly in the“Danish values”, and in a human-centred and sustainable approach to business and humble focused leadership. As a venture leader who has lived and worked in Malaysia for 16 years, and as a newly joined member, I see great value from MDBCs purpose and offerings to both corporates and SMEs in Malaysia. With my Board of Directorship, I aim to work more extensively towards my vision of humaning businesses in Malaysia.
How will you contribute to achieve your mission?
I’m fairly well networked in Malaysia and play an active role in hosting meet-ups, webinars and conversations in corporate innovation and future of work/Human Resource communities in Malaysia and SEA. I can help bring some strategic thinking and entrepreneurial energy to the board to help challenge how we can create the absolutely best value for our members and the wider business community.
